Broadcaster and businessman Jean de Beaubassein is the host and producer of Back to Live. An avid collector of live musical performances, Jean shares with his am 740 listeners a collection of over 14,000 live recorded musical performances. Back to Live can also be heard through out the United States.

Over the past 20 years ,he has produced and broadcast comedic and historical features for several stations.
Jean is proud to be a 12th generation Canadian.

He is able to trace the name and address of his direct descendants back to 1609.  As a trained, certified volunteer palliative caregiver he is called upon by Hospice groups to publicly speak on the subject. When ever he travels he always seeks out the used music shops and when asked about collecting, he says “a rare musical treasure is waiting for me”.
