I read your BI-OP and I guess the only place I haven’t lived or worked in is Brockville.
Just a hello and thanks for a great show and music. – I love when you start picking a song apart and try to figure what the words mean–I have done this for years–I am a word man. I remeber M. Jackson and Billy looked up the lyrics and it is “the kids not my child—-Toodly
Hi Norm, just wanted to say that you were very nice, sweet and patient with the last contest winer, good for you, very nice guy.
Hi.Norm. Just a note to wish you a very happy birthday tomorrow the 10th. We enjoy your afternoon show. Keep up the great work. Wishing you all the best for the coming year.
Chris.
best oldies stationed i,ve every heard. i like you format of tellin the year the song was made and who performed it. most of the oldies stations don’t even play alot of songs from the 50,s and early 60,s anymore.
hi norm–
great show as usual.i have heard 2 versions of johnny hortons song “battle of new orleans”–one says “when the british kept ah coming” and the other “when the rebels kept ah coming”–were there two releases. i also think leo sayers song “when i need you” is far more romantic than the everly brothers “dream”–my opion only–keep up the great work and say hi to OMB (Brian Peroff)for me. he’ll probably say “he’s all yours”
all the best–john miller
