Jane Brown is a 25 year veteran of the Toronto radio news industry and has been nationally recognized for her achievements in radio journalism. Jane is the recipient of the RTNDAs 2004 National Byron MacGregor Best Radio Newscast award. The Canadian Association of Broadcasters also recognized Jane as an award winning coanchor of the coverage of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks on New York City and Washington.
Jane Brown has worked as a radio journalist for such esteemed organizations as the CKO Radio Network, 680 News, CBC Toronto Radio News and most notably for Newstalk 1010 CFRB as Morning News Anchor from 1999 to 2009.
As a morning show personality and interviewer, Jane has had on air conversations with such celebrity greats as Michael Buble, Anne Murray, the late John Candy, Jim Carrey, Lou Gossett Junior, and Eugene Levy, to name a few.
Jane is a strong believer in giving back to the community. Since 2006, she has captained a team for the CIBC Run for the Cure, raising 30,000 to date for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
Most importantly, Jane is enthusiastically devoted to her two teenaged children and her partner Myron and is thankful everyday for their love and support
