Hi George,
I’m enjoying your 50’s special over the web. I love to hear the big bands but tonight your program is bringing back fond memories of my teen era. If it’s possible could you play some of the British performers of the 50’s such as Alma Cogan, Ruby Murray, David Whitfield. Am I too late? Ah well next time. I live in Charlottetown and sometimes the web connection goes a little weird. I’m looking forward to listening to your Satchmo program next week. That’s as much as I can before my bedtime, since we’re an hour ahead of you.
There are no radio stations down East that can compare to Zoomer Radio and Classical 96.3. This is ironic since the Maritimes and in particular PEI are rich in music and musical talent. I just wish there was a vacant tower here on our gentle isle that could be used to broadcast your programs direct to the Maritimes.
Best regards from Anne’s Island

I discovered your station maybe five years ago and have been a steady listener after sunsets here in Illinois since. A story-I was in Chicago a few summers ago on a beautiful June (I think) day. I saw a bus driver standing by her beautiful bus and from it and her maple leaf adorned tie I suspected she was from north of the border. We had a fine conversation each complimenting the other on our great countries and I stunned her when I said I go to sleep every night to AM740. She said she was amazed the signal comes through all the way here. She’s on the road at least six months a year and she listens every night she can as well. We parted sharing a wonderful memory. With the availability of internet listening stations can boost audiences, but the newness and competition will be strong forces. All the best from Chicago and Downers Grove, Illinois to our friends in music at your superior station. Yours, Ron.
