Louis
Looking to add a little fun to your life? May we present Louis. This one year old red fox gerbil is the whole package. Not only is he super cute, he’s a real charmer. He greets people at his cage and loves to use them as giant playgrounds. He is unusual, in that although gerbils are typically a highly social animal that does best in pairs, Louis is an independent lad. He was surrendered with his brother Pipsqueak, but we found that the only way to help Louis over his sibling rivalry, was to give him his own space. And he loves being a bachelor.
Gerbils are originally desert animals and do quite well as pets. Of course you need to be able to meet all their natural needs. They love to chew, burrow and explore. And like everyone else, they thrive with a little one on one attention. Gerbils specifically tend to be a more tame and friendly pet than hamsters or mice. The added bonus to having caged pets like Louis, is that they don’t take up much space in your home – the ideal apartment pet!
So come and see this one in a million guy for yourself. Fabulous things come in small packages!
