The first volume of former U.S. President Barak Obama’s memoir is due to hit book stores two weeks after the current presidential election.
“Promised Land” is the first volume of Obama’s memoir.
The book runs to 768 pages and is one of the most anticipated in Presidential memory.
Obama is considered the most literary president since Abraham Lincoln and has already written two highly praised, million-selling books: “Dreams from My Father” and “The Audacity of Hope.”
There are 3 million books in the first printing of “Promised Land.” It will sell for $45.
The publication date for the second volume has not yet been determined.
