Even the greatest concerts must end at some point! After Bruce Springsteen’s E-Street Band mates are moaning, fingers numb and throats hoarse and dry, and after he’s drenched in sweat, and our own hands ache from clapping – four hours long already – the show – eventually – must end.
Well, after three dozen of the most amazing acts – from Beatles, Eagles and Rolling Stones, to Elton John, Neil Diamond, Leonard Cohen and Tina Turner; from Billy Joel and Burton Cummings to Bryan Adams, Gordon Lightfoot, Sting, Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra – and many others – we too have reached the end of the run. Our fourth and final visit to ‘Fantasy Park’ is this Sunday afternoon. And what a wrap-up show this will be.
Listen for Van Morrison and Cher, Simon & Garfunkel and The Supremes, Anne Murray and Jann Arden, Nikki Yanofsky and Matt Dusk, the inimitable Jackie Shane, memories of ‘Monterey Pop’, ‘The Last Waltz’ and ‘Live Aid’, with a return engagement by Robbie Lane & The Disciples, plus country legends Hank Williams and Johnny Cash and an unforgettable finale with Bob Dylan, The Band, ‘The Boss’ and the all-time greatest live performance – by Queen, at Live Aid.
It’s a show you won’t hear anywhere else, and a show that could only happen in our fantasy … so that’s where we’re going this Sunday afternoon from 1:00 to 4:30. ‘Fantasy Park – 4’ on Vintage Favourites from Zoomer Radio.
