GREATEST HOLIDAY SONGS OF ALL TIME
Billboard magazine is considered the ‘bible’ of the music industry – so when they produce a new list, I pay attention. And this new ranking is fascinating: ‘The Greatest of All-Time Holiday Songs’. I’m excited to share the list’s Top Ten Christmas songs with you in my next Vintage Favourites show on December 19th.
I’ll also have an ‘all-Christmas’ version of ‘This Week in Zoomer Music‘, featuring Elvis, the Beach Boys, the Beatles and Elton John – all making headlines this week in years past. I’ll also spotlight four music legends who each died on Christmas Day. And ‘The Story Behind the Song‘ features the only Christmas song to hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 – for over 6 decades. It’s ‘The Chipmunk Song’ – believe it or not – and it’s quite a story. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas – and thank you for listening to ‘Vintage Favourites’.
