He began is career amidst tragedy, filling in for the recently deceased Buddy Holly at the ‘Winter Dance Party’. Things really took off for Bobby Vee in the early 60s – filling in the gap between the birth of rock and roll and the British Invasion with sweet pop songs including his No. 1 hit, ‘Take Good Care of My Baby.’ On April 30th, Bobby Vee celebrates his 69th birthday.  Here are his Top Ten Songs from the Billboard charts.
