Happy Pink Shirt Day!

Today we encourage everyone to take a stand against bullying. It happens everywhere; in schools, at your workplace and on the internet.

In 2007, a boy attending a high school in Nova Scotia was bullied for wearing a pink shirt. The next day senior students David Shepherd, Travis Price and their teenage friends came together to wear pink shirts the following day at school to stand up for the young boy that was being bullied for the colour of his shirt.

Ever since then schools across Canada have been participating in this movement to help send a positive message to all people across the country.
