Boromir is a loyal and affectionate boy who wants to be your best friend. He is a natural companion who loves to be around his people and always wants to be by their side. Boromir is a smart guy, too. He LOVES treats and is very food motivated. He knows some tricks and will sit on command while waiting for his treat. He is working on other tricks as well and can’t wait to try them out with you!

Boromir is a high energy boy who loves adventures and exercise. But, like most of us, he doesn’t love big crowds. He prefers to be walked in a quiet, peaceful, more intimate walk. Just you and him.

Boromir could definitely live with another dog, but there would have to be a slow, supervised introduction. As for other pets, such as cats, Boromir isn’t sure. He likes chasing squirrels and other little guys, so he might not be comfortable sharing his pad with a cat. Again, however, slow supervised introductions are key. Who knows? Maybe there is a cat out there for Boromir.

Boromir is crate trained, though he takes some time getting settled in. Once he is calm, he will sleep through the night (although he would much prefer to try to sleep in the bed with you!).
Boromir’s ideal forever home comes with a confidant human with dog experience to provide him with structure and routine. Humans who love the outdoors and staying active are a big one for Boromir. He needs someone who can keep up! The ideal home will have enough space for him to burn off his energy. A backyard (with a sturdy fence) would be a huge plus, too.
