Coming up Saturday on Finding Your Bliss!

This week, Bliss expert and Life Coach Judy Librach is joined by Canada’s First supermodel Monika Schnarre

At fourteen, Monika was the youngest ever to win the prestigious Ford Modeling Agency’s, Supermodel of the World competition. By fifteen, she was the youngest to have ever appeared on the cover of American Vogue and in the pages of the coveted Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

At eighteen, Monika moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career and has since appeared in over 50 films and television shows including King of Queens, The Bold and the Beautiful, Junior and Beverly Hills 90210.

Monika has worked as a television correspondent on such prestigious shows as eTalk, Cityline and ET Canada. She also buys, renovates and flips properties, and has been featured on the cover of House and Home and This Old House. Her passion is inspiring women to pick up the tools and is an ambassador for Habitat for Humanity.

Also on the program we have Canadian mezzo-soprano Alexandra Weintraub, who is a versatile and adventurous multi-disciplinary performer whose passions range from opera and musical theatre to burlesque. Motivated by meaningful work and connection, Alexandra is most committed to creating and contributing to social change through art, community, and advocacy work. Upon her recent graduation from Queen’s University, where she earned a Bachelor of Music degree with specialization in Classical Voice Performance, Alexandra was selected for the ‘RBC x Future Launch Fellowship’ with The Association for Opera in Canada.

Selected credits include; Fifi in A Waltz Dream (Toronto Operetta Theatre), St. Jimmy in American Idiot (Blue Canoe Productions), Cinderella’s Stepmother in Into the Woods (Opera NUOVA), Mme Pernelle in Tartuffe (Opera NUOVA), Sorceress in Dido and Aeneas (Queen’s Opera), Lucy in 13 The Musical (First Act Productions), Pinky Tuscadero in Happy Days- The Musical (Bravo Academy), The Merry Widow (Opera York), Barber of Seville (Opera York).

In addition to her passion for the performing arts, Alexandra is also drawn to working as a mental health professional, particularly in complex trauma therapy and research. As a firm believer in the cohesive integration of perceivably divergent interests, and that no one need be limited to one passion or title, Alexandra continues to pursue her interests in the mecca of performing arts, New York City, whilst completing a Master of Social work degree at New York University.
