Two people have died after contracting the West Nile virus in Ontario in what officials say is the worst outbreak in a decade.
The victims were identified as a 71-year-old man in Windsor-Essex County and a 74-year-old man in Toronto.
Public Health Ontario says there have been 220 confirmed and probable cases of West Nile in the province so far this year.
The only year there were more was 2002 when Ontario recorded 394 cases.
