The union representing public elementary teachers in Ontario has named its next three targets for one-day strikes.
The Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario says teachers in the Halton Region, Bluewater and Algoma school boards will be off the job Wednesday.
Walkouts will take place Monday in the Hamilton area and three school boards in northern Ontario.
On Tuesday, the strikes will move to Toronto and seven other boards.
The walkouts are in protest of a controversial law that allows the government to stop strikes, freeze wages and cut benefits.
Premier Dalton McGuinty has said the government would allow the one-day strikes as long as they don`t extend beyond that.
