It’s a phenomenon Zoomer Media founder Moses Znaimer calls rehirement.  New research from Statistics Canada suggests older Canadians are reinventing themselves in their later years.  The information from the National Household Survey shows some of the oldest among us  are taking up jobs in the theatre, in bars and spas.  Some of the more limber Canadians aged 75 and older have taken to the stage to show off their dance moves. Others are working as bartenders and a few even work as massage therapists.  In addition, other older Canadians have expressed their creative flair as performing artists, actors and comedians.  But the data shows the vast majority of people aged 75 and above work as managers.  Other popular occupations for the mature worker are in the fields of sales, business and finance.
