There’s a move to honour guitar icon Les Paul with a U-S stamp.
The Les Paul Foundation has received approval from the United States Post Office for a stamp for Les Paul honoring his 100th birthday on June 9, 2015.
Les Paul, the “father of the electric guitar,” passed away at age 94 in 2009. If all goes well, the U.S. stamp will be issued for Les Paul’s 100th birthday on June 9, 2015.
Now, the foundation needs at least 50,000 people to sign a petition to make the stamp final.
The petition can be signed at http://www.lespaulfoundation.org/spotlight
