Doris Lessing has died.
The Nobel prize-winning author of “The Golden Notebook” and “The Grass is Singing” passed away peacefully Sunday in her home in London, at the age of 94.
The prolific writer penned more than 50 works of fiction, non-fiction and poetry.
She was born in Iran, and raised in the African bush in Zimbabwe.
Her 1962 novel “The Golden Notebook” has been described as a feminist bible.
