If more than just the storm has you suffering, health experts have some advice for those feeling under the weather, and who have been invited to festive gatherings.

And that advice is stay home.

Dr. Michael Gardam of the University Health Network in Toronto says people should realize that what may be a simple cold to them could be deadly to someone else — especially an elderly person or young child.
