The battle for votes in the Ontario election got underway this weekend, and it included special events for party leaders, as well as a jab or two between the Prime Minister and the Premier.

On Friday Prime Minister Stephen Harper criticized Premier Kathleen Wynne’s proposal for an Ontario pension in her budget, calling it a tax that would be rejected by voters.

Wynne says the Prime Minister should get out of the way if his government isn’t going to improve the Canada Pension Plan.

While the election was called on Friday, the official campaign doesn’t start until Wednesday.
