One of Richard Nixon`s men who ended up serving prison time has died.
Jeb Magruder was part of the Nixon administration after serving as Nixon`s deputy campaign director. He claimed to have heard Nixon order the break in at the Democratic National Committee office in the Watergate complex.
The following scandal brought down the Nixon presidency.
Magruder served seven months in prison for originally lying about the involvement of the Nixon re-election campaign in the break-in.
Magruder, who was 79, eventuallly became a minister.
