Book Expo America wrapped up Saturday in New York City, and a couple of well-known authors had important news for their fans.

Former U-S First Lady, and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton dropped by America’s largest annual book fair and talked about her soon-to-be-published memoir, “Hard Choices.”

And Jeff Kinney, the author of “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” announced that he and his wife are opening a bookstore.  They’re converting an abandoned general store in their hometown of Plainville, Massachusetts.

Kinney’s books have sold over 100 million copies worldwide.

Book Expo America is held over four days in late May or early June each year, and gives book publishers a chance to showcase upcoming titles, sell current books and schmooze with others in the business.
