HarperCollins says that “Charlotte’s Web,” ”Stuart Little“ and ”The Trumpet of the Swan“ will make the transition to digital after the author’s granddaughter Martha said she and other family members were no longer worried that electronic sales would hurt business for their preferred format, paper. There are still a number of notable works that remain unavailable as e-books, a couple of the biggest include, J.D. Salinger’s “The Catcher in the Rye” and Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s “One Hundred Years of Solitude.” A recent Pew Research Centre survey discovered that three-quraters of the people surveyed favour e-books while travelling, however, 80% used paper when reading to their child.
