He was the suave, handsome Frenchman with the charming accent who starred in such 1950’s hit films as “Can Can,” “Three Coins In the Fountain” and “Gigi”.

Actor Louis Jourdan died Saturday at his Beverly Hills home at the age of 93.  His biographer, Olivier Minne, says it was likely from natural causes.

In later years Jourdan was seen in 1980s television shows such as “Charlie’s Angels” and “Columbo,” as well as films that included “Octopussy,” and the TV movie “The Man In The Iron Mask.”

Jourdan’s wife of more than 60 years, Berthe Frederique Jourdan, died in 2014, while his son, Louis Henry Jourdan died of a drug overdose in 1981 at the age of 30.
