CANADA CONSIDERS MORE HELP FOR UKRAINE FORCES

Canada may be doing more to help Ukraine.

Defence Minister Jason Kenney and the cabinet are considering having Canadian military personnel get involved in evacuating and treating wounded Ukrainian troops in eastern Ukraine.

 At the present time our country equips Ukrainian armed forces with such non-lethal aid as winter clothing, helmets and flak vests.

Ukraine’s military Thursday announced that it’s pulling back heavy equipment from the front line with Russian-backed separatists as required by a cease-fire agreement.
