Drinking too much iced tea can be very hazardous to your health.

That`s the conclusion of doctors in Arkansas who say a 56 year-old man suffered kidney failure because he drank a gallon of iced tea every day.

According to Dr. Umbar Ghaffar of the University of Arkansas, the diagnosis is the only reasonable explanation.

There is a chemical in black tea that is known to cause kidney stones or even kidney failure if consumed in excessive amounts.

The man is now on kidney dialysis. He first went to the hospital about a year ago suffering weakness, fatigue, nausea and body aches
