The Canadian Olympic Committee has accepted the resignation of President Marcel Aubut. The COC also says an investigation into the sexual harassment complaint against Aubut will cease.

Aubut stepped aside earlier this week as president of the committee and chairman of the Canadian Olympic Foundation after the sexual harassment allegation came to light.

Two other women have added their allegations against Aubut since the original complaint was launched.
