Kosher medical marijuana will soon be available.

Non-smokable cannabis products made by a New York company, Vireo Health, have been certified as conforming to the Jewish dietary law.

Vireo says their medical cannabis product is the first ever to be deemed kosher.

The company’s facilities where the cannabis is grown and processed was inspected by the Orthodox Union which awarded the certification.

Vireo says it will be able to serve New York’s Jewish population which is America’s largest.
