Singer Natalie Cole has passed away.
The daugher of late jazz great Nat “King” Cole died New Year’s Eve from what are being called complications from ongoing health issues.
Cole had a past history of drug problems and hepatitis, and in 2009 she underwent a kidney transplant.
It was in 1991 that she created a version of the song “Unforgettable” in which she sang a duet with her father’s recording of it long after his death.
Her album “Unforgettable… With Love” sold 14 million copies and and won six Grammys.
