Cold enough for you?
With southern Ontario reaching windchills pushing minus 40 degrees Celsius in some areas early Saturday, Environment Canada has issued an extreme cold warning. They’re issued when there is a high risk of hypothermia and frostbite.
Minus 40 Celsius is also minus 40 Farenheit.
An extreme cold warning is in effect from southern Manitoba all the way to northern New Brunswick.
More extreme windchills are in the forecast for the GTA through Sunday, with temperatures returning to near normal readings on Monday when the high will be minus 2.
