Sixty-two lives were lost early Saturday when a FlyDubai 7-37 crashed while trying to land in Rostov-on-Don, Russia.
The aircraft was on a flight from Dubai when it nosedived into the ground and expoded.
The passengers and crew were mostly Russians.
There is speculation that high winds may have been a factor as the plane circled the airfield before a landing attempt, and that the pilot may have been having difficulty spotting the runway.
Video from nearby closed-circuit TV cameras shows the aircraft coming down at a steep angle and exploding on impact.
