The Rolling Stones rocked Havana Friday night, with hundreds of thousands of fans enjoying the first major rock concert in the Cuban capital since the communist regime took over the island nation in 1959.
The Castro government had banned rock and roll, calling it subversive.
The iconic rockers, proof that Zoomers don’t ever have to slow down, performed a 2-hour set of 16 of their classics plus 2 encores.
Mick Jagger, speaking in Spanish, told the boisterous crowd that times are changing in Cuba.
Cuban President Raul Castro’s son Alejandro has been a driving force behind improving relations with the U-S, and after the concert was seen greeting friends and relatives.
