Prime Minister Justin Trudeau visited the site of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp Sunday in Poland.
Trudeau was escorted around the infamous Nazi death camp by 88-year-old survivor Nate Leipcigar who now lives in Toronto. Mr. Leipcigar told the Prime Minister what it was like under horrible conditions at the camp when he and members of his family were there.
Trudeau wiped away tears several times as he toured the site where more than a million people, most of them Jews, were killed by the Nazis.
The Prime Minister signed a book of remembrance before leaving for Kyev.
