It was win to be thankful for on the holiday weekend.
The Toronto Blue Jays are going to the American League Championship Series for the second year in a row thanks to a thriller of a 7 – 6 walkoff win over Texas yesterday in the 10th inning.
That was good for a 3-games to none sweep of the Rangers and tees up a ALCS against the winner of the Boston Red Sox – Cleveland Indians A-L Division Series.
The game was a back-and-forth nail-biter that had Rogers Centre fans on the edge of ther seats until an error on a throw to first base by Texas second baseman Rougned Odor allowed Josh Donaldson to score from second.
