Thornhill, Ontario’s Milos Raonic was forced to withdraw from the Paris Masters tennis tournament on Saturday because of a leg injury, and it had a significant effect on world rankings.

He was just about to play Andy Murray in a semifinal. The win then, for Murray, moves him to Number-One in the ATP rankings. He takes over from Novak Djokovic who lost in the quarterfinals.

All Murray had to do was reach the the tournament final to take over from the long-time Number-One Djokovic.
