U-S Vice-President-elect Mike Pence was the one in the spotlight at Friday night’s performance of the Broadway smash hit “Hamilton.”

Pence heard boh cheers and boos when he arrived, and when the performance ended, he got a sharp message from a cast member.

With fellow cast members on stage with him, actor Brandon Victor Dixon, said that he hoped that Pence would uphold their values and work on their behalf.

He said America is alarmed and anxious about the incoming Trump administration.

Pence slipped out before Dixon was finished but some who were there say he remained in the hallway and listened.

Donald Trump took to Twitter to say that Pence was “harassed`and `this should not happen.“
