NEW HOME BUILDS IN THE GTA SURPASS $1 MILLION MARK

The cost of an average new home in the GTA has surpassed $1 million.
That’s according to new numbers released yesterday by the Building Industry and Land Development Association.
The cost of a newly constructed home jumped 25% in January over the same month last year now averaging $1.3 million.
BILD says there is a growing demand but a historically low supply of new homes in the market which has led to the price tripling in the last 10 years.
