March 6th marks Toronto’s 183rd birthday and there are lots of ways to celebrate. The party started on the weekend and wraps up Monday night with a skating party at Nathan Phillips Square and a concert. Torontonians flooded the square on the weekend for a big birthday bash. The square was transformed into a market and food truck zone featuring diverse food that the city is known for. Well-wishers were invited to leave Happy Birthday greetings on post-it notes. The city has come a long way since its incorporation on March 6, 1834. Check out the city’s website for a list of events
