A source says former U-S National Security Adviser Michael Flynn isn’t going to comply with a subpoena ordering him to turn over documents to the Senate Intelligence committee. Flynn plans to invoke his Fifth Amendment protection against self-incrimination, and legal experts say he likely won’t turn over personal documents without immunity. The committee is investigating Russia’s meddling in last year’s U-S election. U-S President Donald Trump has signed the guestbook and had a tree planted in his honour at the official residence of Israeli President Reuven Rivlin. When Trump arrived in Tel Aviv, he said Israel’s Arab neighbours are realizing they share a common cause with Israel in the threat from Iran. He declared that Iran should never be allowed to have a nuclear weapon. Israeli police say a Palestinian was killed after he tried to stab officers near Jerusalem as Donald Trump visited the city. A spokesman said he was shot after running with a knife at officers near a Palestinian town on the outskirts of Jerusalem. The incident occurred as Trump visited Jerusalem’s Old City, just a few miles away.
