The United Nations held an emergency meeting amid rising tensions between North Korea and the U-S. The U-S Ambassador to the UN says North Korea’s actions show that its leader is “Begging for war.” Nikki Haley urged the U-N to adopts the strongest diplomatic measures in light of North Korea’s latest nuclear test Sunday. Canadian political commentator, and former adviser to Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Michael Taube says this escalation by the north is different than previous tests, and it could lead to military action. He was speaking on Zoomer Radio’s Fight Back with guest host Jane Brown. And American political commentator Paul Pacelli told Fight Back, there’s a theory that North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un is looking for an end to the Korean War. The U-S defence secretary James Mattis has warned of a massive military response to any threat from North Korea against the U-S or its allies. North Korea detonated what it called a hydrogen bomb on Sunday. The blast comes less than a week after a launch of a ballistic missile over Japan.
