Remembrance Day was Saturday but because of a change in law governing Federal Government employees some government offices and business are closed today, Monday November 13.
The government calls it a displaced stat which is being honoured today because Remembrance Day fell on the weekend. As a result banks will be closed, along with government offices and Canada Post won’t be collecting or delivering mail.
