Prime Minister Trudeau will officially apologize to those who were pushed out of Canada’s military or public service because of their sexual orientation. In a Twitter post Sunday, Trudeau said he hopes the November 28th apology will allow everyone to advance together on the road to equality. Thousands of Canadians in the military, R-C-M-P, and across the civil service were fired during a period that began in the 1950’s and continued until 1992.
