Students are getting a history lesson on the holocaust through an exhibit now in Toronto.

Anne Frank: A History for Today has toured 40 countries and is now here for the next two weeks, at various Jewish schools.

Mayor John Tory attended the first stop of the exhibit tour at the Anne and Max Tenenbaum Community Hebrew Academy of Toronto. The mayor Tweeting “The Public Exhibition of Anne Frank being held at CHAT serves as a reminder that we must continue teaching the history of the Holocaust in our schools and always remain steadfast in our own fight against intolerance and discrimination in Canada.”

The exhibit engages students to learn more about the life of Anne Frank, the political situation in Germany and Europe during the war and the Holocaust.
