Photos of the Beatles’ first concerts in the U.S. sold at auction in England Saturday for 358-thousand dollars.
The previously unseen photos were of the Fab Four’s performances at the Baltimore Civic Centre and the Washington Coliseum in 1964.
The collection also includes photos at a pre-performance media appearance as well as their arrival at Washington’s Union Station.
The photos were shot by photographer Mike Mitchell who was 18 at the time.
The collection consists of 400 negatives with their copyright. They were sold by Omega Auctions in northwestern England.
Also purchased at the auction was George Harrison’s 1984 black Mercedes. It went for 61,047 dollars.
