With a height of just 2 feet 8 inches, he was considered one of the world’s shortest persons, but that didn’t stop him from becoming big in Hollywood.
Actor Vernon Troyer died Saturday at the age of 49.
While no cause of death has been given, Troyer had admitted to struggling with alcoholism, and he discussed depression and suicide in statements on Facebook and Instagram.
Troyer lived in Los Angeles but there was no information about where he died.
Troyer’s most famous role was as “Mini-Me” in two of the three “Austin Powers” movies with Toronto’s Mike Myers.
He also appeared in Myers’ 2008 film, “The Love Guru,” and he had a role in 2001’s “Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone.”
