Hours before Sunday night’s final debate among the three provincial party leaders, the PC candidate for Vaughan is slamming New Democrat Leader Andrea Horwath for allowing radical candidates to run. Stephen Leece  told that Ottawa NDP candidate Joel Harden is openly campaigning for a carbon tax that will increase gas tax by 35 cents a litre. The accusation comes days after the PC’s railed against a Scarborough NDP candidate for posting Nazi memes on line. The NDP reponded with a statement this saying the party clearly lays out its policy on carbon pricing and goes on to say that at least 25 percent revenue from its cap and trade will be used to support low income Ontarians. NDP leader Andrea Horwath cast her ballot at the advanced polling in her Hamilton riding Sunday. Libby Znaimer will be at Sunday’s debate to get reaction. Listen to news on Zoomer Radio and The New Classical FM for her reports.
