Members of one of the three groups of contract workers on strike at Toronto’s York University are back to work Monday.
They’ve been out for over three months, and have accepted the school’s latest contract offer.
However classes will still be out for now.
Going back to work are about a thousand course directors, along with instructors and teaching asistants who are not taking graduate studies. They’re represented by CUPE Local 3903.
York would like to see the union bargaining teams for those still on strike to consider the the latest offer so that students can get to their courses and finish their term.
