Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s visit to his home riding in Quebec for Fete National celebrations was marred by an angry protester who questioned why he was there.
Trudeau was greeting crowds at public events in Montreal yesterday when the man accused him of coming to Quebec to speak English and “bother us at home.” As the man was removed by security, Trudeau told him “I am home,” adding there is no place for intolerance. All three leaders of the main federal parties are in Quebec today for Fete National celebrations.Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer is in Riviere-du-Loup, while N-D-P Leader Jagmeet Singh is in Montreal.
