It appears that the huge cost associated with putting on the World Cup soccer tournament has so far been a good investment for Russia.
It’s reported that Russia spent the equivalent of 12.7 billion dollars U.S. preparing to host this year’s World Cup in different cities.
One sports management expert is confident the country will break even.
It’s bars end restaurants, as well as taxi drivers and souvenir shops are doing a booming business.
And beyond that experts say the World Cup is having a positive influence on Russia, and is leaving a good impression about the country.
