The Ontario PC government has frozen the pay of public-sector executives who make over $100 thousand dollars. It’s part of the PC government’s plan to “clean up” Ontario’s fiscal house. The freeze is on while the government reviews the compensation of top earners at public sector agencies including school boards, universities and hospitals. The government also froze the wages of managers in government ministries and ordered a review of executive and management compensation after they took power in June.
