Sofina Foods Inc. is recalling Janes Pub Style Chicken Burgers. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says the uncooked, breaded chicken burgers, which have been sold across Canada, are being recalled due to possible Salmonella contamination.
The products have been sold in 800 gram packages with a Universal Product Code (UPC) of 0 69299 12491 0, and a best before date of May 14th, 2019 (2019 MA 14).
According to the Public Health Notice, 25 illnesses have been linked to frozen, raw, breaded chicken products including 12 in Ontario.
If you have the products in your home you are being told to throw them out or return them to the store.
